Trekcast Episode 61: It’s a geek thang!
Sorry for the delay folks, but we are back with another nerd filled episode of Trekcast. In fact in episode 61 we have one less nerd (Our good friend Darren is working his newly bald head off) but we discuss the things we geek out on. Also this week is another installment of Hey Star Trek, Brandi T. and Damon Trivia. We also “try” to answer some email. I say “try” due to us being short handed this week. Enjoy and we will do our best to keep Trekcast coming as often as nerdly possible.

Yes!! You’re back! : ) I’m sure I speak for many that you guys were missed. I haven’t heard the show yet, but I’m looking forward to hearing it. I hope all is well with the fine folks of Trek Cast. Live long & conquer.

Wow! I had a nerd-gasm hearing about how much you love Harry Potter too! I nerd out on Mega Man! Dragon Ball Z, Transformers, Zombies, it seems like if I’m into something and go wikipedia crazy on that shit! Horror movies is another genre that I nerd on! I’m such a Freddy Krueger Nerd! Dexter is simply sublime! There’s too much stuff! I worked at a record store too and we all nerded out on music and Godzilla, and just as you said, our passions. Great show! Hilarious as always!
I geek out about books. Some of the ones I find other geeks geek out about are Dune, Ender’s Game, and The Hobbit. You’ll catch me frequently geeking out on Hyperion.
Well, I’m re-geeking out on Dune by Frank Herbert. I’ve read all the books and seen the movie. Now, I’m listening to the audio book…

Dune, Harry Potter, LOTR, Ender’s Game–
I love the LOTR triology, I found a site to buy jewelry and ended up reading a whole other series (Wheel of TIme) because rings/necklaces piqued my interest.
And what’s best is I’m dragging the kids along with me- and loving it!
Harry Potter! OMG, Harry Potter!! I run the NoVA Meetup group for HP and Love HP! and, Star Trek and LotRs, and recently Firefly, and somewhat Jane Austen. Our members are into the above and Star Wars, Buffy, Dr. Who, MASH, etc. I know it is crazy – or I thought it was crazy but have always felt as if I am preparing for a fandom test! and that I have got to STUDY!! thanks for the podcast.
